Ghana Gas Forum 2012

Event Description

This maiden gas conference will focus on drawing attention to the enormous potential for the gas resources that exist alongside the country’s crude oil reserves currently under production and unexploited in other basins.

It is structured to provide a platform to the various participants to share perspectives on creating an enabling environment for gas sector development. This conference is being organized bearing in mind that a proposal for the Gas Framework has been put forward to the Government of Ghana. The conference seeks to launch an early campaign to promote Ghana’s gas resources by leveraging on the experience of participants while opening up opportunities for private sector participation in the country’s nascent gas industry.
